● HOW WE VALIDATE TALENT · CLOSING

Every reference you capture builds something bigger

We close the series with the idea running through everything we showed: what you capture in a process doesn’t die in your ATS. And with some news: a new dimension has just arrived.

In one sentence

Every structured reference becomes a validated skill that keeps existing after the process ends — and together they build an open base of verified talent that grows with every use.

Over the past weeks we showed StarmyCV from the inside, piece by piece. If you missed any of it, here’s the full walk-through:

All of that solves today’s process: this role, this client, this candidate. But there’s something running through every piece that we hadn’t yet said out loud.

What happens to each reference after the process

In the traditional flow, a reference lives as long as a phone call: it helped you decide, got jotted down somewhere, and died there. All that knowledge — what real people confirmed about someone’s skills — disappears with the process.

“A reference that dies in an ATS is wasted work. A validated skill that remains is accumulated knowledge.”

StarmyCV is different by design. Each structured assessment isn’t filed away: it becomes a validated skill belonging to a person, verifiable, that keeps existing after the process closes. The candidate shows it on their profile. And the system accumulates it.

An open base that grows with every use

That makes StarmyCV more than a process tool: it’s an open base of validated talent built collectively. Every firm capturing references, every candidate validating their skills, every completed assessment adds a brick.

And as a recruiter, you can already search over it: find people registered on StarmyCV by the skills validated in previous processes — yours and other people’s.

Is it a huge base today? No. We’re just getting started, and we’re not going to tell you otherwise. But its logic is what matters: the more it’s used, the more it’s worth. And those joining now aren’t merely users — they’re the ones laying the first bricks of an open standard no single firm could build alone.

And some news: a new dimension has just arrived

Everything we showed in this series validates one side of talent: what a person has demonstrated — what the people who worked with them confirmed through ratings, examples and evidence.

But one question always went unanswered: what is that person naturally suited for? Because being good at something and it being your natural ground don’t always coincide — and that difference matters more than it looks.

We’ve just released the answer: a second signal, complementary to references, that shows each person’s behavioural profile. Two independent sources — what someone is and what they’ve demonstrated — that for the first time can be crossed in one place.

We won’t say more for now. The crossing of those two signals — what it reveals, how it’s used in a process, and what it changes in the report your client receives — is exactly what our next series is about.

Thanks for following this one. The next begins soon.

More soon.
