How to create your account, complete your profile, and choose the skills to be evaluated
The first step is to create your account. If you use Google, the process is faster.
Click [Access quickly and securely with Google] to register (or sign in if you already have an account).
Google will ask you to choose an account and share your Name, Profile Photo, and Email with StarmyCV. Click [Continue] to proceed.
This is important to verify the identity of both candidates and reviewers.
Click [Connect with LinkedIn] so we can verify your identity. We’ll do the same for anyone who will evaluate your skills.
LinkedIn will request permission to share your Name, Profile Photo, and Email with StarmyCV. These will appear on your StarmyCV profile. Click [Allow] to continue.
We only need a few professional details so recruiters can review your profile.
After filling in the 7 required fields, click [Continue] to move to the last step (skills).
All users can select 6 skills to be evaluated by people who know and have worked with them.
You can pick skills manually, but we recommend using the AI Assistant to propose the best 6 for your profile. Click the round button with the star to open the AI Assistant.
Enter a short paragraph describing your professional objective—what you’re aiming for in the short and medium term—then click [Get suggested skills].
The AI Assistant will suggest 6 skills (you can change them later). For each skill you’ll see the reasoning behind the suggestion. Click [Apply skill suggestions] to continue.
You can add or remove skills at any time using [Edit skills]. When you’re done, click [Finish].
Once you’ve defined your skills, we recommend sharing your public profile link with your network so they can evaluate you.
Click [I want to be evaluated] to open sharing options.
Copy your public profile link, or share it on your installed social networks via [Share profile].
